.....my hand has nearly commited suicide with this picture, it hurts to type this right now. I worked very hard on this piece.

This is my half of an art trade with ~ThistlePuma. We decided to both do something Wicked related. When I thought about ideas for the piece, this came into my mind. Thistle could of very well attended Shiz, since Animals were allowed to go to school/college at the time. So, what if Thistle did go to Shiz, and met up with Elphie, Glinda, and Dr. Dillamond? So this is meant to look like those school photos that people put in yearbooks. It's black and white because this was way back in the old days, before Dorothy came. And Dorothy came in those days, and she came when Elphie, etc were in their forties. So, this is, I'm guessing, set in the 1900's/1890's.

I have no idea how to thank-you enough, honestly! You just made my week! Lookit Doctor Dillamond, so sweet! :3 I love his monacle and his floppy ears! And Glinda and Elphie...Oh my goodness, you've got them SPOT ON! Glindas all preening herself and Elphaba is just... so her. Sorry this comment isn't making much sense, my brains all muddled up. x3 I adore how Thistle is just grinning like a maniac and her scarf is blowing in the wind. By the way, did you colour this and then greyscale it? Gosh, thanks SO MUCH! This is blooming awesome. I really don't know how to thank-you... <3

Glad you like it!!! Yes, I colored this with real colors, then greyscaled it. I found it much easier to color that way ;)
